A/Prof Ho Ghim Wei and her team focus their research in developing cost-effective three-dimensional transparent conductors using cheap aqueous method that can potentially replace conventional indium tin oxide (ITO) electrodes for displays, lighting, batteries to solar cells applications. The significant achievement can allow various electronics manufacturers to use the new design electrodes to make the same device at a lower cost and higher efficiency. This will greatly enhance the attractiveness of such unique electrodes in various electronics consumer market.
